On July 1, 2020 AIA Ecosystem signed a contract with Magnum Cash and Carry, the largest grocery retail chain in Kazakhstan, for OSA Hybrid Platform services at the retailer’s stores.

Magnum Cash and Carry owns 77 shopping centers of various formats (hypermarkets, supermarkets and smaller “Magnum-express” stores) in nine cities across Kazakhstan — Almaty, Nur-Sultan, Kaskelen, Karaganda, Taldykorgan, Shymkent, Petropavlovsk, Kyzylorda and Taraz. The total number of shoppers is over 300,000 a day. The number of employees is more than 11,000. The annual revenue in 2019 was upwards of 52 million rubles (more than 676 million USD).

Currently, the service integration to the retailer’s infrastructure has been complete, and, with Magnum’s support, we have started recruiting suppliers into the project. In the next few weeks, we will start receiving POS data from the retailer and will launch the basic data science algorithms, which will allow us to calculate the diagnostic KPIs of product availability based on stock and sales data. As the next step, we plan to integrate the data from across the entire supply chain of the retailer.
